Today we went on an adventure to Florence. We traveled by train; the trains in Italy are much nicer than the ones I've been on in NJ. The seats were so comfortable, and I even got a box with food and water. In Florence, we climbed up a bell tower and the Duomo. The climb up was so difficult; I walked up over 800 steps, and it was steep at times. I felt like I should just go back down and give up, but I didn't. In the end, it was so worth it, being able to see the views from the top, and I felt so proud of myself that I actually did it. We then went and had a quick lunch at a local shop and then went to Ponte Vecchio. It was raining, and it was so windy that my umbrella ended up breaking as well. Even though the weather was horrible, I had an amazing time seeing all of these places.
